1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Reel Records uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies that store information on, or read information from, your browser or device.

2. Essential account and security storage

Reel Records may use strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in, maintain authentication/security state, preserve a booking journey you explicitly started, remember essential session information and protect the service against abuse. Without this storage, requested account and booking features may not work correctly.

3. Preferences

Reel Records may store preferences you deliberately select, such as interface/theme choices, so the site can remember them. These are used to provide the setting you requested rather than to build an advertising profile.

4. Third-party resources

Reel Records may load resources or data from third parties such as mapping tiles, Leaflet resources, fonts, weather services and payment providers. When your browser connects to those services they may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser details and the requested resource. A payment provider may also use its own cookies or similar technology on its checkout/onboarding pages under its own policy.

5. Analytics and advertising

At version 18.8, Reel Records does not intentionally use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking cookies as part of the core site. If Reel Records introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies that require consent, they should not be activated until the required consent choice has been provided.

6. Consent and control

Where UK law requires consent for a non-essential cookie or similar technology, Reel Records will request a clear choice before using it. Strictly necessary storage used to provide a service you requested may not require consent, but it is still described here for transparency.

You can also control cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or booking functions from working.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if Reel Records changes the technologies it uses. The current version and date appear at the top of the page.

8. Questions

Questions about Reel Records browser storage should be sent through the contact method published on reelrecords.co.uk.
